To match the “army of darkness” vibe of Alexander Wang’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection, Michelle Saunders for essie created a ghostly, obscure nail look by layering two coats of jazz with a neutralizing matte top coat. The creamy, taupe shade also complemented the overall makeup tone.
essie nail products used: ridge filling base coat, jazz, matte about you
Get the look: 1. Apply ridge filling base coat to clean, filed nails 2. Next, apply two coats of jazz 3. Finish with matte about you top coat
Diane Kendal for NARS Cosmetics created the look for the Alexander Wang AW’15 runway show. The look was inspired by “…heavy metal rock – think Kiss. The look has a very gothic rock-and-roll feel.”
Get the Look: Prep skin using the NARSskin Aqua Gel Oil-Free Moisturizer and NARSskin Total Replenishing Eye Cream. For a flawless complexion, use the Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer followed by the Sheer Glow Foundation. Use the Radiant Creamy Concealer where needed. Use the Brow Perfector to get the full brows and use the Brow Gel to keep them in place.
On the eyes, use Aigle Noir Velvet Shadow Stick (New for Fall 2015, for now try Night Clubbing Night Series Eyeliner), Transvaal Eye Paint, Bellissima Duo Eyeshadow, and Vientiane Matte Multiple to get that heavy metal rock n’ roll look.
