NYFW : CHRISTIAN SIRIANO FALL 2015

Welcome to the jungle—for fall 2015 Christian Siriano was inspired by exotic creatures from the Congo.

Prints & Palettes: The collection was enriched with sleek burnout wool textured dresses, bold animal printed jacquard coats and liquid panther-like velvet. Inspired by plant life and the jungle itself, were graphic oversized palm printed taffetas and bright citrus embroideries that brought a pop of color to the darker collection.

Favourite Look: The Ombré African Tulip Tree Gown showcased the signature Siriano drama we all love. We can’t wait to see how this translates on the red carpet.

New Friends: Calling all the cool girls…this show’s star-studded front row included Coco Rocha, Juliette Lewis, Zendaya, Kelly Osbourne, and Kesha.

If This Show Was a Drink:  The “Congo Blue” is apparently named after the beauty of the Congo sunset, and like the drink this season’s collection is dark and powerful but still romantic.

Try at Home Now: Be the bell of the ball! Full A-line skirts are turning heads everywhere and there was no shortage of them in this collection. Embrace this dramatic trend in the coming fall and we promise you won’t loose your glass slipper.
